This project has endless uses. It is pretty slick. You see those clocks in stores, on wood, with an image and they are very expensive. This technique would allow you to create photo coasters, wood clocks, gifts for family, etc. All it takes is a piece of wood and temporary tattoo paper.
You print your image (in reverse), on the Silhouette temporary tattoo paper , and then using your piece of wood, you trim the paper to fit it. Use a wet cloth to press the photo on the wood gently. It will transfer the image to the wood.
The one thing I learned, and did differently than the author, was finished it up with a clear Krylon Acrylic spray to give it a permanent water proof seal. It helps seal the wood and protect it. It moisture proof, which is a plus if you decide to do coasters.
